Getting Started with Poach

You'll be saving recipes in under a minute

Poach is the simplest way to save recipes from any website, TikTok, or Instagram into your own personal collection. No account needed — just download and start saving. This guide walks you through everything you need to know.

1. Download Poach

Poach is free to download from the App Store. No account or sign-up required — just install and open.

2. Save your first recipe

Open a recipe in Safari, TikTok, or Instagram. Tap the Share button, then tap Poach. The recipe is saved to your collection in seconds.

Poach extracts just the recipe — ingredients, steps, and photo. No ads, no life stories, no clutter.

You can also paste a recipe URL directly in the app if you prefer.

3. Browse your recipes

Open Poach to see your saved recipes. Each recipe shows a clean view with just the ingredients and steps — easy to read and easy to follow while you cook.

4. Create a collection

Tap to create a collection — for example, “Weeknight Dinners” or “Baking.” Add recipes to collections to keep things organized. A recipe can live in multiple collections.

5. Search your recipes

Use the search bar to find any recipe by name. As your collection grows, search becomes the fastest way to find what you’re looking for.

Tips

  • Works with virtually any recipe website

Questions?

Which websites does Poach work with?

Virtually any website that has a recipe. Poach automatically detects and extracts recipe content. It also works with TikTok and Instagram links.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Poach works immediately after download — no sign-up, no email, no password.

How do I save from TikTok or Instagram?

Copy the link to the video or post, then open Poach and paste it. Or use the share sheet: tap Share in TikTok or Instagram, then tap Poach. See our TikTok guide and Instagram guide for step-by-step instructions.

What if a recipe doesn't save correctly?

Most recipe pages work automatically. If you run into issues, try sharing the direct recipe URL (not a search results page). You can reach us at team@poachapp.com for help.
